(Children under 16 may attend for free with a registered adult.)

This year’s IDA-GA Dimensions of Dyslexia conference, “Bridging the Gap between Structured Literacy & Assistive Technology” has a different format than previous year’s conference events.  This year’s event, being held in partnership with Georgia Tech’s Tools for Life, will provide a hands-on assistive technology lab as well as structured literacy and assistive technology sessions. Sessions will be geared to address the various interests of professionals, parents, and students.  To provide flexible opportunities for all those hoping to attend, the morning sessions, held 9 am until noon, will be repeated in the afternoon from 1 until 4 pm.

2018 Leadership in Literacy Award Nomination Form (Nomination Deadline: February 26)
The International Dyslexia Association’s (IDA) Leadership in Literacy Award recognizes a school administrator who has shown leadership in developing literacy in his/her school or school system within the state of Georgia. The administrator should have demonstrated outstanding leadership through the development of effective reading and/or special education programs, the support of excellent teacher training and professional development that has led to significant gains in student reading achievement, and/or the engagement of parents in school/home cooperative ventures to support literacy.

2018 Service Award Nomination Form (Nomination Deadline: February 26)
The International Dyslexia Association’s (IDA) – Georgia Branch Service Award recognizes an individual who has exhibited dedicated service in pursuing IDA-GA’s mission within the state of Georgia. The individual should have demonstrated outstanding dedication to increasing public awareness of dyslexia.

Thank you for your willingness to volunteer at the IDA Georgia Dimensions of Dyslexia Conference. Your participation will allow our event to run smoothly. We will try our best to accommodate your preferred time slot. You will receive a confirmation email indicating your assigned time and location. Each duty station is one hour to allow you to attend conference sessions.
