  • Free + Open to All
Edcamps never charge a fee and are open to educators of all levels and subjects.
  • Participant-Driven
Edcamps allow educators to collaboratively determine session topics the day of the event.
  • Experience, not Experts
Edcamps encourage educators to facilitate sessions by sharing experiences; conversations not planned presentations.
  • Rule of Two Feet
Edcamps suggest educators find sessions that meet their needs to maximize learning.

Your 2020 Facilitators:

Stephanie Schlanger has 12 years teaching experience in public and private schools. Stephanie learned the benefits of assistive technology teaching students who have dyslexia and language-based learning differences. She especially finds enjoyment when “the light bulb goes on” for a student who grasps a concept that was a prior struggle. Stephanie is a Classroom Educator member of The Orton-Gillingham Academy of Practitioners and Educators and is currently working on her Associate Level through the Academy.

As an educator for 30 years, Donna Cherry has witnessed the power of technology for students with dyslexia and language-based learning differences. Throughout her experience as teacher, tutor and educational consultant, technology has always played a key role in student empowerment. Now the Director of Technology and Assessment at Swift School, Donna works closely with teachers and students to integrate technology across the curriculum. Donna is a Certified member of The Academy of Orton-Gillingham Practitioners and Educators.
