We’ve all heard the buzz. . . now it’s time to dig into the Science of Reading and explore the what, why and how.
In addition to defining the key terms (the what), this session will address these big ideas that are central to understanding the Science of Reading: Research and frameworks that inform instruction, including the neuroscientific findings (the why), and what effective Structured Literacy instruction looks like in action (the how).
This overview is great for parents, pre-service and in-service educators, educational leaders, and any others beginning their Science of Reading journey.
