Now Available: K-2 Diagnostic Assessment Toolkit
4/16/26 Message From Jennifer Lindstrom, Georgia’s State Dyslexia Coordinator:
We are excited to share the release of Georgia’s K–2 Diagnostic Assessment Toolkit—designed to support educators in pinpointing student needs and strengthening instruction with precision.
This free resource equips teachers with high-quality diagnostic assessments to identify specific skill areas where students may need additional support. The toolkit goes beyond assessment alone, offering:
Ready-to-use diagnostic tools aligned to foundational literacy skills
Video demonstrations that model administration and analysis
Case studies that illustrate how to translate results into targeted instruction
Together, these resources provide a clear, practical pathway from assessment to action.
And there’s more to come—the Grades 3–8 Diagnostic Assessment Toolkit will be released soon, extending this support across additional grade levels.
We’re proud to offer this resource as part of our continued commitment to equipping educators with tools that make a difference for students every day. Check out the K-2 Toolkit here.
