Message From Jennifer Lindstrom, Georgia’s State Dyslexia Coordinator, April 2026:

The GaDOE has released Georgia’s K–2 and 3-8 Diagnostic Assessment Toolkits—designed to support educators in pinpointing student needs and strengthening instruction with precision.

These free resources equip teachers with high-quality diagnostic assessments to identify specific skill areas where students may need additional support. The toolkit goes beyond assessment alone, offering:

Ready-to-use diagnostic tools aligned to foundational literacy skills

Video demonstrations that model administration and analysis

Case studies that illustrate how to translate results into targeted instruction

Together, these resources provide a clear, practical pathway from assessment to action.
