The Dyslexia Dash is an annual run/walk hosted by the International Dyslexia Association Georgia to raise awareness and support for individuals with dyslexia. Whether you’re a competitive runner or just want to enjoy a fun morning with family and friends, this event is for you!

Our in-person event will take place at Perimeter Mall, and for those who can’t join us in person, we offer a virtual race option so you can run (or walk) on any date from anywhere in the world. Virtual participants upload their best time between October 1-18 and receive their race t-shirt and bag in the mail.   

In-Person Event Details

🏃‍♂️ Peachtree Qualifier: The chip-timed 5K race is perfect for improving your time!
👥 Run With a Team: Make it fun—team up and meet up with friends, family, or coworkers!
🎉 Fun for All Ages: Enjoy activities like face painting, a Kids’ Zone, rock painting, a photo booth, and more!
👕 Race Shirts & Bags: All participants will receive a race T-shirt and bag on Race Day.
🏅 Awards for Top Finishers: Medals will be awarded to top finishers.

Fundraising & Sponsorship Opportunities

Support the Dyslexia Dash by creating a fundraiser or becoming a sponsor!

💙 Fundraisers: As a special thank you, any Fundraiser raising $100 or more by October 1 will have their fundraiser’s name featured on the official Dyslexia Dash t-shirt. Additionally, individual donors contributing $100 or more have the option to have their own name or the name of someone they wish to honor printed on the t-shirt.

🤝 Sponsors: Gain visibility and show your support for the dyslexia community. Sponsorship opportunities are available at various levels.

• New this year will be a digital Dyslexia Resource book to be published this fall. Sponsors are invited to submit an ad to be included in the program.
• Platinum sponsors who want their logo on the race bag should register before August 1.
•  October 1 is the deadline to ensure the donor/sponsor name or logo is included on the t-shirt.
