We are using the word novaturient to describe our Summer Conversations guest Natalie Felix.

explains that the adjective novaturient earliest known usage was in the 1600’s and claims it is now considered obsolete. However, this word seems to have been added to the lexicon of those in the 21st century who are “desirous of a powerful change in their life or situation.”
