A Special Evening at The Carter Center hosted by IDA Georgia

October 23 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

A Special Evening at The Carter Center hosted by IDA Georgia

IDA Georgia is excited to offer a Special Evening at The Carter Center during the IDA Reading, Literacy & Learning Conference.

This year brings something extra special for our Georgia community and sponsors. Just five days after the Dyslexia Dash, Atlanta will host the IDA National Conference, connecting a global network of researchers, educators, families, and individuals with dyslexia.

On Thursday, October 23 at 7:30 PM, IDA Georgia will host for conference attendees an evening gathering at The Carter Center. The beautiful venue, located just a few miles from Emory University, offers a powerful and inspiring backdrop for mingling, networking, and celebrating our shared work. We will be offering ticket holders complimentary bus transportation to and from the Hyatt Regency in downtown Atlanta.

We are also thrilled to announce that we have invited Ray James, Head of School at The Boyce L. Ansley School, to deliver a brief address and be available throughout the evening to chat and share insights about the school’s mission and impact. His mission resonates deeply with our organization’s goals, and we encourage you to listen to him speak with Susan Lambert in this podcast episode from Amplify’s Science of Reading podcast.

This special, inspirational networking event allows IDA-GA to offer your organization a unique sponsorship opportunity in 2025!  Learn about our sponsors and the sponsorship opportunities at https://ga.dyslexiaida.org/an-evening-at-the-carter-center/
