Ditch the Reading Log: Smarter Summer Routines for Kids with Dyslexia

There is a better way to support summer reading than worksheets, reading logs, and guesswork. This webinar is designed for families who want a smarter approach to summer reading for kids with dyslexia and other word-level reading difficulties.

Join Dr. Brennan Chandler, Assistant Professor of Dyslexia at Georgia State University, and Erin Agyeman-Duah, Dyslexia PhD Fellow in Learning Sciences, for a session focused on helping kids keep growing over the summer. They will cover simple, effective routines and materials for students in grades K–3 that can be used in just 15–20 minutes a day to support reading, spelling, and continued progress.

Erin Agyeman-Duah is a doctoral fellow in dyslexia in the Department of Learning Sciences at Georgia State University and a former Georgia educator with experience in both public schools and specialized dyslexia schools. Her work centers on preparing educators to deliver evidence-based literacy instruction and equipping families with practical, supportive strategies they can use at home.
