Date TBA – The Flexibility of the Approach with Jennings Miller, M.Ed., Fellow/OGA, C-SLDS Jennings will explore the power of flexibility in effectively teaching students with dyslexia and other language-based learning disabilities.
This is a free IDA-GA outreach event. Certificates of Attendance will be available upon completion of the post-webinar Knowledge Check, a form that includes questions designed to encourage reflection and serve as a review of key information.

Janine is a pediatric occupational therapist who, in addition to running a private practice, trains occupational, physical, and speech-language therapists across the U.S.
Her current mission? To bridge the gap between clinical understanding and everyday parenting.

Request for Outreach Events

Outreach events offer individuals the opportunity to connect in person with parents, educators, and others interested in learning and engaging in discussions about dyslexia and related topics.
We are eager to bring events to as many areas as possible throughout the state and appreciate assistance from volunteers who can help find meeting spaces such as at public libraries or schools. If you are interested in having a Dyslexia 101 or other outreach meeting in your area, please fill out the Request for Outreach form.

Free Webinars
For parents and teachers who are not able to attend outreach events, free webinars now exist that provide wonderful learning opportunities for professionals, parents, and advocates. These webinars are meant to empower educational professionals and families with knowledge and resources to address the instructional needs of students who have dyslexia and other learning differences.
